At Bamboo Garden in Bellevue, Schezuan taste finds its way into an eclectic mix of flavors and dishes. That great taste is moving to a new location to make way for a new Marriott Hotel. Owner Stacey Zhongshan won’t miss a beat, citing a new location, a new name and a brand new menu, slated for mid-February.
From the most adventuresome to the pickiest of eaters, there will be something for everyone at the new La Bula, her new restaurant, debuting in the Soma Tower at 288 106th Ave. NE. La Bula, translated from Chinese, means not too spicy.
Back at the old location, the old Bamboo Garden will be transformed into a 234 room hotel, a joint venture by AC Hotels and Marriott. That project is expected to be completed in October 2015.

What project will be completed by Oct ’15, the hotel? that seems really quick
2 things:
1. The restaurant isn’t being “transformed” into a hotel. It’s being demolished to the ground and they’re building the hotel on that site.
2. There’s no way it will be complete by October of this year. October 2016 is possible but even then that is an aggressive estimate.
