Registration Opens for ‘Bellevue Four on the 4th Dog Jog & Walk’

AAD5C438-C7D0-4DC2-8A6F-0DAD3BE3494ERegistration is now open for the third annual “Bellevue Four on the 4th Dog Jog & Walk,” a noncompetitive 4-kilometer walk benefitting the Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue.

Participants and their canine companions are invited to meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, at Ashwood Park, next to the downtown library. Registration costs $30 for one, $50 for two, or $90 for four people.

The event includes a dog costume contest, a kids’ bouncy zone, vendor booths, and the Humane Society’s MaxMobile, which will be filled with adoptable animals. Patriotic dress is encouraged.

This year one special pet will be dubbed the “Grand Doggie Marshal,” an honorary guest at the 4K. Nominations are being accepted on the Bellevue Downtown Facebook page through noon on Wednesday, June 17. Voting opens to the public on June 17-26.
