The Bellevue Collection has built sky bridges to connect Lincoln Square to the Lincoln Square expansion project.
Users of the new the sky bridges can access them via the second floor of Lincoln Square, near Lucky Strike. This now connects pedestrians to The Westin. Once at The Westin another sky bridge connects to Lincoln Square expansion.
These sky bridges will be convenient for those looking to avoid the rain on rainy days. The sky bridges will also encourage flow between all of The Bellevue Collection properties.
It is not useful to avoid rain when the bridges are open air. I was informed by Kemper Freeman co that being open to the elements is actually a REQUIREMENT that the Bellevue City Council imposed on them when they made the first ones and has not been revisited. Kemper wants to enclose them very much but is not allowed.
