Dick’s Drive-In has announced that they will be launching a new food truck. They are asking for you to vote on where it should stop first by filling out an online poll. This is the community’s opportunity to bring the popular fast food hamburger joint to Bellevue.

The truck will feature its regular menu items, excluding French fries. Instead, they will be serving chips.

Some of the cities to choose from include Bellevue, Issaquah, Kirkland, Sammamish, West Seattle, Redmond, Maple Valley, and Tacoma. Their goal is to be able to reach all locations that are not able to get to their seven restaurant locations.

The food truck will be arriving in November 2020. To vote for the first location of the truck, visit their website.

  1. I think bringing in food trucks to Bellevue at a time when our brick and mortar restaurant sites are closing for ever is a real punch in the gut!

Please get out and support the infrastructure you have or one day you’ll look up and find that there is no longer diversity of restaurants in Bellevue, save who we currently have in our community, save all our small businesses.

Food Trucks don’t pay Bellevue rents and don’t have the same expenses or employ people within our community, brick and mortar restaurants make the community diverse, they employ local community members, they support local charities…lets support them first, when life returns to normal there is likely room for both, just not at this time.

  2. Bellevue is an excellent location!
