Zumper recently published a Seattle Metro Area report, analyzing active listings in October. This included 20 metro cities to show the most and least expensive, as well as cities with the fastest growing rents. The Washington one bedroom median rent was $1,282 last month.
Bellevue ranked as the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,860. Notably, the price of one bedroom units fell 2.1%, while two bedroom units grew 1.2% to $2,430.
Ranked after Bellevue were Kirkland at $1,740 for a one bedroom, and Redmond came in third with rent at $1,700. Kirkland rent grew 1.2%.
The least expensive rents were in Port Angeles, Oak Harbor, and Lakewood.
Zumper aggregates listings by city to calculate median asking rents.
