Vietnamese-style cafe, Bambu Bellevue, is permanently closing at the end of this month. It is located at Belle Arts Condominiums on 108th Avenue Northeast. They opened their shop in May 2019.
They recently reported this news on their Instagram and Facebook pages. Their message read, “the journey has come to an end, Bellevue Bambu is closing our doors for good, September 26th.” They continued to thank their customers and added that as they close, they are bringing deals on drinks, which you can find on their website.
According to Bambu Bellevue, the landlord for their shop was unwilling to be flexible with them during the COVID pandemic on lease terms.
The drink shop offers coffee, tea, Asian-inspired chè and fruit smoothies. There are 21 different drinks on the menu.
Bambu has franchises located throughout the United States. There are six other cafes in Washington, with Bellevue being the first location to have opened on the Eastside.
