In a sweet celebration marking four decades of crafting culinary delights, ROYCE’ Chocolate commemorates its 40th anniversary with a special offering that encapsulates the nature of their journey: the “Farm to Bar” Chocolate collection. This milestone indicates not just a testament to the delicious confections but also the company’s determination and passion for quality.

The story began with a dream to create chocolate from cocoa beans grown on their very own farm. This vision transformed into a reality as ROYCE’ ventured into the process of chocolate making, from nurturing cacao plants to chocolate production.

What sets ROYCE’ apart is its dedication to sourcing the finest ingredients. Embracing Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island renowned for its cool climate and rich natural resources, became vital in its commitment to excellence. The pristine air and ideal conditions of Hokkaido contribute to the quality of their chocolates.

ROYCE’ Nama Chocolate has established itself as a key player in the chocolate industry. This treat is made with top-tier ingredients, featuring fresh cream chocolate sourced from Hokkaido. The star among its offerings is the coveted Nama Chocolate “Au Lait.” Additionally, the brand boasts an array of flavors such as “Champagne Pierre Mignon,” “Islay Whisky (Port Charlotte),” “Mild Cacao,” “Bitter,” “Ghana Bitter,” “Matcha,” and “White.”

The 40th anniversary special includes the “ROYCE’ Farm to Bar” potato chip chocolate, the indulgent Amande Chocolate, and the classic Chocolate Wafers. Each creation is a testament to the brand’s growth and commitment to delivering exceptional chocolates.

Since ROYCE’ was founded in Sapporo in 1983, it has created a niche in the world of confections. The journey crossed international borders when it first came to the United States in 2012. In 2019, Bellevue became home to ROYCE’s first boutique in Washington state, strategically chosen for its central location and diverse demographic, catering to the growing demand for international culinary experiences.

The boutique is nestled on the second floor of Bellevue Square, outside of the Macy’s Department Store.

As ROYCE’ Chocolate presents its 40th-anniversary specials, it invites chocolate enthusiasts to try delicious flavors and learn about the history behind them. The offerings, perfect for holiday gifting, can be ordered from their Bellevue Square location or explored further on their website. Complimentary gift wrapping is available as an extra special touch.
