Bellevue Police received a late-night emergency call and were dispatched to the 989 Elements Apartment building. Located on 11th Avenue Northeast, there were reports of a shooting incident at 8:55 p.m. on December 16th.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 35-year-old male victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The authorities located and detained the alleged shooter, identified as a 38-year-old man, within an apartment in the same building.
Bellevue Police Detectives affirmed that the incident does not appear to be a random act of violence. The details surrounding the motive remain undisclosed. Authorities are continuing to examine the incident.
The 35-year-old victim, whose injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening, received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition.
