The opening day of the Bellevue Farmer’s Market is near. Beginning May 23rd, the market will be happening every Thursday through October 24th, from 3pm to 7pm.
The market offers seasonal fruits & vegetables, cut flowers, local meats, artisan goods, and cuisine. This year, there will be over 40 vendors participating.
The Farmer’s Market is located at 1717 Bellevue Way Northeast, in the parking lot of Bellevue Presbyterian Church. Dogs are allowed but need to stay close to their owners on leashed.
Children’s ages 3-12 are welcome to participate in the Power of Produce (POP) Club. This includes a two bite challenge where kids try two bites of a new fruit or vegetable and in return, get $2 in market tokens to spend on produce. There are also periodic activities that have to do with food, nutrition, health, and gardening.
The article will be updated as the vendors for Bellevue Farmer’s Market are announced.
