The 11th Annual Lake to Lake Bike Ride is set to take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Presented by the City of Bellevue, this non-competitive event offers riders of all ages and skill levels the chance to experience Bellevue’s hidden treasures and parks.
The Lake to Lake Bike Ride is also a celebration of community, exploration, and giving back. With two routes to choose from, participants can tailor their experience to suit their abilities. The Greenbelt Loop, is a mostly flat 8-mile route, while the Lake Loop offers a more challenging 24-mile course.
Both routes feature a mix of low-traffic roads, dedicated bike lanes, and the picturesque Lake to Lake trail. Whether its parks or urban areas, riders will have the opportunity to experience the city from a unique perspective.
Registration for the Lake to Lake Bike Ride is now open. Day-of registration will also be available at the event site from 8:30-9 a.m. on June 8. Fees are $20 for early registration and $24 for day-of registration, with children under 8 riding for free.
In addition to the main ride, the event features a free kids ride in Robinswood Park for children ages 3-8. Held on a flat course around the park’s soccer field, this ride offers young cyclists the chance to join in on the fun and receive a prize upon completion.
Following the ride, participants can enjoy a post-ride party at Robinswood Community Park, with prize giveaways and refreshments. Proceeds from the event benefit the City of Bellevue’s youth program donation fund, supporting initiatives that help the lives of young people in the community.
