Mirra in Bellevue at Lincoln Square South

Mirra, a tech-immersed entertainment venue, is opening its first U.S. location on Saturday, August 31, at Bellevue’s Lincoln Square South. The venue, located on the third floor of Lincoln Square South across from Cinemark Reserve, offers a party game experience using virtual reality (VR). Along with the gaming experience, Mirra also features shareable food and handcrafted cocktails.

There will be a grand opening events on August 31 and September 1 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. For $20 per person, guests will receive a welcome drink, one hour of gameplay, and a food platter for the group. Guests can reserve the party for four to eight people in advance. Walk-in guests can also take advantage of additional food and beverage discounts during the event.

“We’re bridging reality with fantasy at Mirra for players and spectators alike,” says Sam Wang, Mirra founder. “We want to bring Mirra to the Bellevue community to create a fun, social space where people of all ages can spend quality time with friends and family while enjoying exciting games and activities.”

Mirra’s 10,708-square-foot space can accommodate up to 482 people. The venue offers six VR games at launch, including HyperRhythm, JackpotInPairs, TreasureDash, LaserRoom, BubbleBoom, and HockeySmash. Games are projected onto an 8k LED screen wall.

“Mirra is a revolutionary social gameplay arena perfect for friend and family gatherings, date nights, team bonding, and more,” said Jennifer Leavitt, vice president of marketing for Kemper Development Company. “I can’t wait to experience it for myself alongside The Bellevue Collection team.”

The venue’s menu includes dishes inspired by street food from around the world, with options for vegetarian, gluten-free, nut/seed allergy, and vegan-friendly diets. The full bar offers handcrafted cocktails, including cask-aged old-fashioned and fresh Thai basil gimlet.

Henry’s Tavern previously occupied this location, opening at Lincoln Square South in 2017 and closing in 2019 following the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of Restaurants Unlimited, which led to the closure of all its Pacific Northwest locations. Known for its wide selection of 80 beers on tap, including 20 rotating options, and a varied menu of pizzas, salads, burgers, and tacos, Henry’s Tavern had established itself as a popular spot for food and entertainment, featuring TVs and shuffleboard tables.
