The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue has announced its upcoming Great Futures Day, a community initiative designed to raise funds for scholarships for Bellevue families in need. The annual event aims to support access to safe and enriching after-school programs for children, regardless of their financial situation.
This year’s Great Futures Day is focused on addressing the increased demand for scholarships. Over the past two years, BGCB has experienced a rise in the number of children requiring financial aid, with over 60% of participants benefiting from scholarships.
“The need in our community is greater than ever,” said Tim Motts, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue. “With rising costs of living and growing demographics, our goal is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed. Great Futures Day is our way of rallying the community to make a real difference in the lives of these children, especially since when most think of Bellevue, they don’t realize there are many families struggling here.”
Great Futures Day will take place as an online giving event, encouraging individuals, businesses, and organizations to contribute through donations or by becoming a Great Futures Day Ambassador. All funds raised will be allocated directly to providing scholarships, ensuring Bellevue’s youth have the resources they need to thrive.
