According to the press release, R+M Dessert Bar will open a new flagship location in Bellevue at 1025 108th Ave NE. The establishment, known for its unique dessert concepts, was originally founded in Capitol Hill by chefs Rod Gambassi and Marc Adams in November 2017.

The new Bellevue location will feature R+Mโ€™s takeaway boutique, offering desserts and wines to go, including R+M Signature packaged items like cookies, granolas, gourmet nuts, and snack mixes.

The space will also accommodate 20 guests for dine-in experiences, including R+Mโ€™s FOUR Dessert Experiences, Afternoon Tea, and a chefโ€™s menu. Additionally, a private dining/lounge area will be available for groups of six or more.

Chef Rod Gambassi stated, “We searched for a while for a location that would provide us space to continue to create our desserts. We also wanted a location that provided an appropriate seating space for guests to enjoy our exciting menus and experiences.”

Chef Marc Adams noted, “We visited dessert bars in other cities and saw them in other countries. We realized that the Pacific Northwest was missing this type of experience. We drew on our many years of culinary and business experience and created the first location of R+M.”

The Capitol Hill location remains a neighborhood favorite, known for its hand-crafted desserts and a rotating menu of gourmet items. The new Bellevue site aims to enhance R+Mโ€™s offerings with a sophisticated dining experience and improved parking options.

Chef Marc added, “Our Bellevue location will become our flagship restaurant providing our guests to experience even more of what makes R+M so special. Guests will discover a chef-driven, sophisticated experience inside and an easy arrival and departure experience outside with ample on-site parking and street parking. The Bellevue location will allow us to create more innovative dessert experiences for our guests.”

The dessert bar is slated to open in early 2025. Opening at 5 pm, R + M will offer a new late-night option in the city.
