Williams Sonoma, an upscale retail chain known for high-end cookware, kitchen accessories, and gourmet goods, is undergoing a significant interior remodel. The renovation, which began in July 2024, has allowed the store to remain open throughout the process. The grand reopening is scheduled for Friday, October 25th.
According to an employee at the Bellevue Square store, the updates include new marble floors, redesigned bakeware and knife features, and new furniture from Williams Sonoma Home. The furniture will showcase various products, allowing customers to purchase items such as bar carts, tables, and chairs directly from the display.
In conjunction with the grand reopening, Williams Sonoma is hosting special events on October 25, 26, and 27. The grand opening celebration on October 25th will feature Chef Shota Nakajima at 6 PM, where attendees can taste his butter-poached black cod with matsutake mushrooms and participate in a wine tasting from the Williams Sonoma Wine Club.
On October 26th at noon, a Halloween Cookie Workshop will be led by Emily Hutchinson of @thehutchoven, who will also sign copies of her cookbook, “Creative Cookie Decorating.” Finally, on October 27th at 1 PM, American Master Bladesmith Bob Kramer will discuss his craft, knife care, and the anatomy of a knife.
Williams Sonoma Inc. also owns several other brands, including Pottery Barn, West Elm, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen, and Mark and Graham.
