The City of Bellevue has expanded its 2025 Food Truck Pilot Program by introducing a second site at Compass Plaza, located on 106th Avenue Northeast. The new location operates Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and joins the existing City Hall Plaza site, which continues to host food trucks on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the same hours.
The pilot is part of the Grand Connection Street Eats initiative, managed in partnership with the Washington State Food Truck Association. It brings a rotating selection of food trucks to downtown Bellevue, offering varied lunch options for workers, residents, and visitors.
According to the city’s economic development office, the expansion follows the success of the 2024 program, which generated $60,000 in sales and served over 3,600 customers at the City Hall site. The additional location is intended to meet growing demand for lunch options downtown as more workers return to in-person work.
