Japonessa, a popular Japanese restaurant in downtown Seattle plans to open a second restaurant in downtown Bellevue at Lincoln Square. The opening is planned for a year from now in spring 2016 according to Japonessa’s Facebook account. There is not currently any confirmation of the location within Lincoln Square that the restaurant will go.
According to the Japonessa website the restaurant features a Japanese core concept with hints of Latino flair. Their Seattle restaurant is located on 1st Ave in downtown Seattle. Billy Beach, whom is in charge of Japonessa, has also led Wasabi Bistro, Kushibar, Umi Sake House, and Billy Beach Sushi and Bar. This is his first restaurant on the Eastside.
