The Bellevue Arts Museum will be allowing visitors to see new exhibits and utilize the building’s amenities once again on October 2nd. They have been working hard to follow CDC guidelines to ensure the health of visitors and employees in order to be able to open their doors.
Although they were closed due to COVID-19, BAM remained active by creating online experiences for kids and adults, blood drive in partnership with BloodWorks NW, and the support of artists in the community.
Members and non-members are required to reserve time for their visits in keeping with social distancing guidelines. This can be done on their website, in-person, or over the phone.
Admission has switched to a Pay-What-You-Can program so that everyone can access the museum. This was underwritten by Overlake Medical Center and Clinics.
For those cannot make it into the museum, virtual tours are available. Visitors to their site can also find fun craft videos for kids.
The museum will be open Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. BAM will be closed Monday through Thursday. Members only will be able to visit the museum on September 26 and 27.
