A new condo, funded by a local group of investors, AFD LLC has just announced that it will fill the skyline of Downtown Bellevue. This complex will be quite unique, being built in the middle of Downtown Bellevue Park. All the details of the project have not yet been announced, but will be a partnership between the City of Bellevue and the investors.
The plot of land in the middle of the park was purchased for $10 million. The park will continue to be public, but will be accompanied by the 25 story high rise, which will have approx. 125 units.
The development will be built using “green” materials, and some features of the building will use solar power energy. The most unique feature is a 500 sq foot garden that will extend from the main floor of the condo into the park. The garden will be a horticulture paradise, growing a variety of plants, flowers, herbs, and vegetables.
We are anxiously awaiting more details of this project, as it is the most unique concept we have reported yet!
