Fatburger and Oma Bap restaurants on Bellevue Way have closed. According to a representative of Fatburger their lease expired and the landlord and tenant were not able to come to a new agreement to extend the lease.
The new tenants are unknown, but rumor has it that one of them will be a teriyaki restaurant.
Fatburger and Oma Bap are interested at staying in downtown Bellevue according to the representative. They are currently exploring new real estate options.

Love Oma Bap. I would walk there for lunch from my office in Bellevue Place. Hopefully they’ll be able to find a place close by. Great Food!
Really liked eating at Fatburger once in a while. Loved Oma Bap too. Sad to see them go.
The Avalon Towers has several vacancies… Not sure if any of them are suitable for a restaurant, but I’m sure they would do fairly well considering the close proximity of the Bank of America building.
Unfortunately, Avalon Towers is notorious for awful parking options. Black Bottle is extremely popular and keeps that parking garage over full during after work and evening hours. Surrounding parking is assigned to other businesses during business hours. Avalon Towers did themselves a DISFAVOR with the limited (oh yes and VERY EXPENSIVE parking options). This is the problem with almost any of the available lease options below a high-rise. Parking. It’s not enough to suit a busy/successful business. And anywhere you go will always be in competition with the 1000s of free parking spaces in and around The Bellevue Collection. Mr. Freeman knows EXACTLY what he’s doing. Trust.
As an Avalon Towers resident, I can vouch for the parking situation being completely ridiculous, both for residents, and guests.
I think the Skyline building is looking for people to fill their retail space.
Bummer. I like both.
Yes, come to the Skyline building!!
Yes, please come to Skyline!
