Astoria at Meydenbauer in Downtown Bellevue.
71 condominium homes in a five-story 2000 mid-rise at 10047 Main St, on the corner of 101st Ave SE in Old Bellevue — courtyard and concierge inside, three storefronts on Main, and Meydenbauer Bay Park a short walk away.
Astoria at Meydenbauer is the five-story condominium on the northeast corner of Main Street and 101st Ave SE, the west end of Old Bellevue, a short walk from Meydenbauer Bay Park. Completed in 2000 — the owners association was incorporated that August — it holds 71 homes in one-, two- and three-bedroom plans, with resales running from about 490 square feet to about 1,800. Three commercial spaces face Main Street, and the building sits directly across from Cantinetta, a block from Carmine’s and two blocks from Monsoon, which is to say in the middle of downtown Bellevue’s restaurant row. The full name is Astoria at Meydenbauer Bay; brokers shorten it to Astoria at Meydenbauer, Astoria Condos or Astoria in Old Bellevue, and all four mean this one building.
What the building offers is a mid-rise version of the amenity set the towers sell: a secured lobby with concierge service, a gated garage where some homes come with two deeded stalls and individual storage, and a courtyard with a fountain, tables and chairs. The homes lean on floor-to-ceiling windows, gas fireplaces and in-unit laundry. DBN’s coverage of the building is thin — no defect claims, no fights with the city — but its roundup of 2019 downtown sales put a fifth-floor, 2,122-square-foot two-bedroom here at $1,999,500, one of the six priciest condo sales downtown that year, in company with Bellevue Towers and One Lincoln Tower. At street level the constant since September 2017 has been Weldon Barber in suite 102, which opened with a week of free haircuts.
Against the newer towers on Bellevue Way and 106th, Astoria trades height and views for Main Street at the front door and a scale of 71 homes rather than several hundred — the Old Bellevue argument in condo form. See how it compares in our guide to every downtown Bellevue condo building.

Getting Around & Living Here
Old Bellevue is the walkable end of downtown; the notes below cover parking and the light-rail walk for visitors and house-hunters.
Getting There & Parking
- Drive: Residents park in the gated garage under the building. Visitors and showings use street parking along Main Street and its side streets.
- Light rail: 2 Line to Bellevue Downtown Station, then about a 20-minute walk southwest to the west end of Main Street; East Main Station, straight along Main Street, is a similar distance — see our light rail guide
- On foot: Cantinetta is across the street and the rest of Main Street’s restaurants are within two blocks; Meydenbauer Bay Park is a short walk southwest; Downtown Park is a few blocks north, with Bellevue Square beyond it up Bellevue Way.
What It’s Like
Main Street is the draw and the noise: this stretch of Old Bellevue is restaurant row, busiest on Friday and Saturday evenings and at weekend brunch, and quieter on weekday nights than the Bellevue Way side of downtown. Homes here suit buyers who want to walk to dinner and the lake rather than to the mall, and who prefer a five-story building of 71 homes to a tower of several hundred; the concierge desk and gated garage keep it workable as a lock-and-leave home. The 2019 sale of a fifth-floor two-bedroom for just under $2 million says the top floor commands a premium here.
What’s Nearby
Dinner is across the street: Cantinetta is directly across Main Street, Carmine’s is a block away at 88 102nd Ave NE, or Monsoon is two blocks east on Main.
Good to Know
There is no official building website: condosatastoria.com, still listed as the building site on Yelp, now redirects to a Compass agent’s page, so treat it as a broker site. Listings and your agent are the source for dues, rental rules and pet policy. The unit count is 71 (DBN and the NWMLS feeds), not the 75 an HOA-directory aggregator lists, and the completion year is 2000, not 2001. DBN’s old page put the building across the street from Gilbert’s on Main; confirm current neighbors and the other two storefront tenants on a visit.
