Two years and six months ago, Vino 100 opened its doors at Lincoln Square. Vino 100 is a franchised wine retailer that has many stores throughout the country.

Apparently the Downtown Bellevue location has gotten into “a great dispute” with the franchiser, according to the owner of the store, and will be closing Vino 100 on the 4th of July.

The store will be closed for a few weeks after July 4th and will then re-open as a store named Tajut. Not many details have been disclosed on how exactly it will be different, but one thing is certain, they will continue to sell wine.

  1. I’ll pesonally pay them $50 to choose a different name. As classy as Bellevue is, no one is going to get that reference.

  2. Since I’m not as classy as you please explain the reference.

  3. Tajut? It rolls of the tongue like French… oh wait

  4. From the owner:

“Tajut” means a “cut or a “taste” of wine enjoyed with friends after a hard day’s work in Friuli, Italy.

  5. What ever happened to the reopening?
