A new volunteer organization, Act Two Guild, which is put together by PACE will host a Spring Fashion Show & Luncheon (Silhouettes of Style – Design Debut 2009) fundraising event, scheduled for April 3, 2009 at The Westin Bellevue.

The Bellevue Collection’s stores will be featured in the season’s runway show. The event will feature contemporary designers with the latest styles and shop trends.

Act Two Guild, which is intended to appeal to women in their 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s is now made up of over 30 women whose sole purpose is to raise money and support for PACE.

“This is a dynamic group of young women with an eye for fashion and tremendous experience in putting together very special events,” says Suzanne Hutchinson – director of guilds for PACE.

In addition to raising money, the event also hopes to raise awareness and buzz around PACE.

PACE, scheduled to open in 2012, will be a 2,000-seat performing arts center when complete.

  1. They keep pushing back the open date for PACE. First it was 2009 and that date has been slipping back and back, now its at 2012. Who knows when they’ll raise enough funds to build this thing especially in this economy.

  2. This is event might be one of many to help get them to their goal! Kemper heads the Board of PACE right?

Does this mean Bellevue will have two fashion shows? That’s a bit much no?
