Wednesday night marked the private grand opening of Parlor Live. 3 nationally recognized comedians made the Bellevue audience laugh like they had never heard a comedian before! There was high energy in the air at the intimate venue of Parlor Live, unusually unreserved for Bellevuites.

The venue is a game changer! Parlor Live brings live entertainment to Downtown Bellevue, an important piece of the nightlife and urban scene that has been missing for some time now.

It’s interesting to reflect on how far Downtown Bellevue has come in a years time. With the opening of Lucky Strike Lanes, and now with Parlor Live, the nightlife opportunities are much more substantial and exciting.

Comedic headliner Kivi Rogers is not to be missed this weekend; his performance Wednesday night was extremely memorable. Local audiences will get a kick out of his “Bellevue” routine that he customized for the audience, featuring tech geeks, The Bellevue Collection, and more.

The same 3 comedians from last night will be featured this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Parlor Live. Tickets are still remaining for these shows.

Congratulations to Parlor Live for a successful launch. We look forward to future performances by comedians, musicians, and other stage acts at Parlor Live!

  1. I was there last night – and I was laughing hysterically! I’d definitely recommend it!

  2. Just got back from there. Funny as hell. Kivi, keep it up.

  3. Just a comment from a long time reader of Downtown Bellevue Network…I would really like to see or know who is posting these articles. For example, was this review done by a member of the DBN staff, a reader or was it from someplace else. You’ve already had credibility issues with the new years party announcement so this is even more important. Please cite your sources or take credit for them as original DBN ideas.

    Thanks

  4. You can see who posted the article at the bottom of the entry. It says “posted by Michael.” Michael is the founder of the Downtown Bellevue Network.

I work for the Downtown Bellevue Network and got to enjoy the Parlor Live myself. In my opinion, which is in alignment with many others, I had a great time!

  5. Maybe the wording was poor to say “post”. Clearly it is DBN staff doing all the posting on this site. But did Michael actually go see this for himself or is this all second or third hand info. Thanks Lea for standing up and saying that you went and saw it yourself. That is what I was looking for. Michael should have said that he was there and saw it. That gives the information WAY more credibility. The way it is written is so generic that it reads more like advertising.

  6. Lea, thanks for replying…I missed this one.

Yes, I did have the chance to go to the show! Anytime a post has a tag of “Opinion,” or the title of the post is “Review,” I can assure you it will be something one of our writers has had first-hand experience with!
