The City of Bellevue will hold its annual Bellevue Family 4th celebration on Saturday, July 4, from 5 to 10:30 p.m. at Downtown Park, 10201 NE Fourth St. The event is presented by The Bellevue Collection and co-produced with the Bellevue Downtown Association.
The Fourth of July this year coincides with the country’s 250th anniversary of independence.
Activities include live music at the Amazon Entertainment Plaza, yard games, a scavenger hunt, a selfie tent, interactive sports-themed games, and merchandise vendors. Food and beverage vendors will be available starting at 3 p.m.
A fireworks show synchronized to music will begin at 10:05 p.m. The Bellevue Downtown Association has co-produced the fireworks show for nearly 30 years.
The city encourages attendees to walk, bike, carpool, or use public transit. Sound Transit’s 2 Line will run extended service until midnight. Several streets around Downtown Park will be closed to vehicle traffic.
Free parking is available after 5 p.m. at Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square North, Lincoln Square South, and Bellevue Place. For post-event exit, the city recommends parking at Lincoln Square or Bellevue Place and exiting via Northeast 10th Street.
ADA parking is located on the first floor of the southwest Bellevue Square parking garage, accessible via Northeast Eighth Street, turning south onto 101st Avenue. Permit holder entry closes at 9 p.m. A full list of street closures is available at bellevuewa.gov.
