Ever wonder what the word “haute” means? It is a French word meaning “high”. So, I’m assuming a/an “Haute Pick” awards businesses, amenities, etc, for being “the best.”
Debbie is right – it was our little play on words. And a little poke at ourselves here in Bellevue, where everything is ‘haute’.
