neighborhood-linkWith the many residents living in the newly built apartment and condominium buildings, as well as the employees that work at Expedia, Microsoft, Eddie Bauer and other large companies in Downtown Bellevue, the dynamic and mix of people in Downtown Bellevue is changing.

Neighbor Link, sponsored by the City of Bellevue, will help to encourage neighborhoods and their residents to come together by having community-building block parties!

city-of-bellevuejpgIt’s simple – Let’s say that you want to gather your neighbors for a picnic, wine and cheese, or dessert party. Give the Neighborhood Outreach Team at the City of Bellevue a call. They can assist you with planning and provide flyers, banners, cake, and party supplies. The goal of this is to help connect people with their neighbors in the vibrant, growing downtown neighborhoods. If you are a Downtown resident interested in connecting with the Downtown community, call Julie Ellenhorn – Downtown Bellevue liaison for the city – at 425-452-5372, or email her at jellenhorn@bellevuewa.gov.
