img_0906-1Thursday evening, local businesses Built Burger, 425 Magazine, Trophy Cupcakes and yours truly, the Downtown Bellevue Network, hosted almost 200 guests for a last toast to the summer: Grilling in the City.  The event, held at Bellevue Towers’ Urban Garden, celebrated the end of summer with a tasting of Built Burger’s gourmet burgers, scrumptious Trophy Cupcakes, and refreshing drinks.

Built Burger, a newly founded start-up that delivers fresh gourmet burgers straight to your door, was the highlight of the night with their burger tasting varietal of Brilliant Prosciutto, Luxe Italian, Utopia Chicken flavors and more.

Trophy Cupcakes prepared for the event by building a large cupcake pyramid. The mini cupcakes served at the event quickly became a big hit with guests.  Although a lot of people had previously heard of Trophy Cupcakes, many used Grilling in the City as their first time to try the delightful treats.

The event proved to be a success and may become a “first annual!”  Please take a moment to view the gallery of great images from the event below. Thank you to everybody that came yesterday to help celebrate the end of summer!

  1. Thanks so much for helping to put this together. What a fun event it was, and a great way to present some tasty new things to people!

  2. Does anyone know how many units are occupied in the Bellevue Towers? Also, is Build Burger planning on opening up an eastside location?

    -Thanks

  3. Bellevue Towers has about 10% occupancy from what I know. Built Burger is very new and just opened their first tiny shop in Ballard. They are defintely looking into additional options on the Eastside! I know they would be widely popular in Downtown Bellevue, judging by their reception at our “Grilling in the City” event.
