HermesOver a month since the historic Bravern Grand Opening, and Hermes is finally ready with its doors open. Taking the extra time it needed to get it all right, and obviously not feeling the pressure to open with all of the other stores at The Shops at The Bravern, Hermès has made it clear that they play by their own rules.

Hermes stores are closed on Sundays worldwide, and will be the only store closed on Sundays at The Bravern. On the days they are open, Monday – Saturday, they close at 6pm. Most stores at The Bravern close at 8pm. Fitting into the standard is certainly not something that Hermes is concerned with.

A few years ago Hermes made national news when it refused to let Oprah into its Paris store, so nothing Hermes does surprises me. I guess that’s what you get to do when you have been one of the most prestigious high fashion houses since 1837!

  5. It’s typically a good sign for a brand when they make their own rules like this. I agree, cheers to them 😉
