image003President of Solstice Restaurant Group sent a release Saturday night communicating that by Sunday, March 14th both Twisted Cork & STIR Martini + Raw Bar would close.

This comes two months after “Twisted Cork” changed its name to “0/8 Seafood Grill & Twisted Cork” and made the decision to offer a new more affordable menu.

It is currently unknown what will happen to both Twisted Cork & STIR’s locations. Both local restaurants were active in the community and will be missed.

  1. It is too bad to see them go. Good luck to them in their next endeavor!

  2. Sad. Best wishes to Michelle & her husband!

  3. Twisted Cork will be missed in DT Bellevue.

  4. From the Hyatt’s POV, something’s got to fill the Twisted Cork spot soon. At minimum, they’re going to have to get something up and running to provide breakfasts for guests.

Without a high-end hotel restaurant, they can’t keep their AAA four diamonds either. Not sure if Joey’s would count…

  5. Bummer as I thought Twisted Cork was the better of the wine bars downtown. That leaves us with Grand Cru and Artisanal for wine bars.
