People are demanding fresh, organic food now more than ever. With vitamin and supplement stores popping up all over Bellevue and Nature’s Pantry recently going out of business, it can be confusing when trying to shop for your health. Fresh, organic, local, or sustainable food and produce is not as simple as a trip to the ‘organic’ section of your local grocery store. Choices are limited, and it’s not always easy to determine how many hours a tomato has traveled before it ends up on display.

Full Circle Farm

Organic fruits and vegetables delivered directly to your doorstep on your schedule. A box of produce can be delivered to you weekly, every 2 weeks, or every 4 weeks. They also offer a diverse selection of natural foods like milk, bread, and ready-made meals. Spud! delivers to the Downtown Bellevue area every Thursday. Delivery is free on all orders over $43. Amazon Fresh
By far my favorite, only because of the vast variety and unique offerings they have. Although not everything sold through Amazon Fresh is organic or local, you can order hard-to-find items like quinoa, udon noodles, coconut oil, and hormone-free ground chicken. Instead of running around to different grocery stores, have Amazon Fresh deliver what you need on your time. Orders over $75 qualify for free delivery, and deliveries are made 7 days a week as early as ‘pre-dawn’ and as late as 8pm.
Delicious Planet
Gourmet food delivered to your home. Founded by a nutritionist and organic cook, Delicious Planet specializes in prepared meals, snacks, and sides that taste delicious, are good for you, and come from a sustainable practice. Deliveries are done Monday – Friday, with a $50 minimum order. If you’d rather try before you buy, ONVO in Downtown Bellevue is now carrying some Delicious Planet snacks: Mixed Grilled Vegetables, Hummus & Veggies, Tamari Roasted Nuts, and a Curry Chicken Wrap.
