The Essential Baking Company is now open inside of University Book Store in Downtown Bellevue. The bakery makes all of its food from scratch with organic and natural ingredients.
The Bellevue Café is open Monday – Friday 7AM – 7PM, Saturday 8AM – 6PM, & Sunday 9AM – 5PM. This is The Essential Baking Company’s 4th store, and first on the Eastside.
I had one of their sandwiches a couple of days ago – really good. But the entrance through the bookstore just feels weird. Not sure how well Zeeks is doing, but that block feels like a ‘destination’ you intentionally plan to go to and not something you stumble across on your way somewhere.
