At the end of the December “Mr J Culinary Essentials” lost their lease according to a notification sent to customers. The store, which was filled with kitchenware had been a staple in downtown Bellevue. It was connected to the Village Bellevue QFC complex on NE 8th St. Mr J Culinary Essentials opened 1977, over 36 years ago.
A new Eastside location is apparently being looked into, but there is nothing currently to announce. Based on a call with a former employee, as well as the communication sent to customers it was suggested that the store was forced out of their lease.
