Several Stores Close at Main Street & Bellevue Way in Preparation for The Main Street Gateway Project Construction

Several Stores Close at Main Street Downtown Bellevue
Several companies have officially closed their doors for business at the corner of Bellevue Way and Main Street, including well-known retail establishments such as 7-Eleven, Cupcake Royale, Rudy’s Barbershop, and Araya’s Place. The Spot Off Main also closed in early March. The closing of 7-Eleven certainly marks the end of an era in Bellevue.

Rudy’s will transition to a new location located on Main Street later this summer. Cupcake Royale has also announced that they are looking at another space in downtown Bellevue as well, but no official announcements yet.

The Main Street Gateway project is planned for 369-unit apartment complex, 23,475 square feet of retail space and 625 underground parking stalls. The project is scheduled to be complete in May 2016
