The 2014 Bellevue Arts Fair Weekend is kicking off Friday, July 25, with three art festivals in downtown Bellevue. All ages are welcome and admission is free.
BAM ARTSfair will present the works of more than 300 artists from 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday and from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, at Bellevue Square and the Bellevue Arts Museum. Guests can enjoy live music and free admission to the museum, which is showcasing origami art from around the world.
The 30th annual Bellevue Festival of The Arts, a juried arts and crafts fair located near CostPlus World Market, north of Bellevue Square, runs from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday-Saturday and from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. The festival will feature 200 artisans, musicians, and craftspeople.
The 6th Street Fair will offer works by 120 artists, hands-on activities for children, and a variety of food vendors. The fair runs from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday-Saturday and from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, next to the Bellevue Galleria, at Northeast 6th Street and 106th Avenue NE.
The three festivals draw more than 300,000 people each year, according to the City of Bellevue. Downtown road closures are listed online.
