The City of Bellevue and King Country Library will present downtown Bellevue’s first official food truck gathering on Thursday, Aug. 14, at Ashwood Park, next to the downtown library.
The ChowDown(town) Bellevue Food Truck Round-up will feature 12 local food trucks with a variety of menu options from 3:30-8:30 p.m., according to Visit Bellevue Washington.
Local bluegrass band Dysfunction Junction will perform from 5:30-7:30 that evening. Event attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs.
Free parking is available at the downtown library.
Update: It has been confirmed by the City of Bellevue that the following vendors will be in attendance: ChopStix – Asian Fusion; Falafel Salam – Middle Eastern; Lumpia World – Filipino; Street Treats – Ice Cream sandwiches; Skillet Street Food – Burgers, Poutine; Yi Dim Sum – Dim Sum; Buns on Wheels – Gourmet Burgers; Ezell’s Express Chicken – Southern Fried Chicken; Tokyo Dog – Japanese-style hot dogs; Hot Revolution – Mini hot donuts; and Fruit Chatterbox – Fresh cut fruit with fun toppings.
