Here is news that can assist you in navigating successfully around upcoming weekend construction in Bellevue. Ongoing construction at Lincoln Square will be necessitating lane closures on Bellevue Way during January.
Over the next two weekends, northbound lanes will close between Northeast Fourth and Sixth streets. In addition, drivers will find, one southbound lane closed between Northeast Fourth and Eighth Streets. The southbound closure will enable crews to remove construction equipment, from the Lincoln site, on the first weekend closure, then to enable placement of a crane, for north tower construction, on the second weekend.
Here is specific timing for the closures, offered by Bellevue City officials. Closures will take place at 7 pm, Friday through 9 pm on Sunday. Although work, may necessitate late evening work, operations are not expected to be conducted on a 24-hour basis. Morning construction starts are planned between 8 and 9 am and will continue until the work is completed on Sunday evening. Electronic signage will reroute drivers, during the closures.
