The Bellevue Downtown Association is hosting a noncompetitive 4K dog Jog & Walk on the 4th of July, with nearly a thousand participants.
The sound of fireworks is stressful for dogs. The Dog Jog is designed to tire your pooch out, to minimize stress later in the day. Participating canines and their owners are encouraged to wear patriotic outfits as they jog or walk to benefit Seattle Humane in Bellevue.
Here are the pertinent details. The jog and walk will begin at 9:00 am with 7:30 am check-in at Ashwood Park (adjacent to Bellevue Library) in Downtown Bellevue.
