is now open in Bellevue on Main Street. The retailer that is popular for contemporary furniture and other housewares will occupy 14,215 square feet at Venn at Main, a mixed used development.

“Bellevue’s appreciation for heritage, community and innovation makes this a perfect home for us,” said West Elm president Jim Brett. “We can’t wait to connect to our new community with the great service and distinct products that can create such rewarding experiences whether you’re a new or regular West Elm customer.”

West Elm has various ways that show that they are committed to the communities that they serve. Seven Washington-based designers and designs will sell their products within the store’s holiday assortment as a part of the LOCAL program. The Bellevue store design includes a cash wrap created from reclaimed pine and fir that evokes the region’s history as an agricultural center. The wood was sourced from an old grain elevator in Clarkston, WA.
