According to the City of Bellevue, to further promote social distancing, Bellevue Parks & Community Services closed both of their parking lots at Bellevue Downtown Park. This is part of an effort to discourage large numbers of people traveling by car to destination parks.
There will be one parking lot remaining open near Inspiration Playground, at the Southern lot.
The park remains open for walking. Park rangers are on-site to encourage social distancing and assist with parking.
People are encouraged to use the local park facilities near their homes versus driving to another park in Bellevue.
