The proposed largest high-rise project in Bellevue, Cloudvue, will be a nearly 4.2 million square foot mixed-use development. The project, made up of three skyscrapers, are each planned to be 600 feet tall.
Located at 10833 Northeast 8th Street, Cloudvue will be comprised of two office towers, and one residential and hotel tower. There will be 416 residential units, 54 residential stories and 286 hotel rooms. There will also be 40,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, and 2,290 parking spaces.
The project will have water features, including a “mist garden”, as well as a live-events venue, referred to as “The Playhouse”, as first reported by Puget Sound Business Journal.
If the project begins construction, the first phase would include the office tower on the west side of the property and reach completion in 2026. The residential tower, which will be composed of apartments, and hotel tower, would reach completion eight months later, as well as the “mist garden” at the southwest corner of the project.
The second phase of the development is the office tower planned for the northeast side of the project, with the interim use being a surface parking lot.
The third phase would include “The Playhouse”, with the interim use being an amphitheater with a “great lawn”.
Formerly referred to as Elev8, Cloudvue was purchased in 2018 for $128 million from developer, Plus Investment USA. Plus Investment had purchased the property in 2014 for $75.9 million.
This article is incorrect, MZA only completed the MDP. ZGF is the master architect for the site and two office towers, Weber Thompson is the architect and designer for the mixed-use hotel and residential tower. Check the ADR.
