According to a recent news release from Amazon, they have opened two new offices in Bellevue. The location is West Main Tower 1, which is walking distance from Bellevue’s many destinations and 555 Tower, which Amazon has leased up to the 19th floor.
Currently, over 11,000 Amazon employees are based in Bellevue, and the addition of West Main Tower 1 provides over 300,000 square feet of modern office and collaboration space. This new facility is designed to accommodate more than 1,500 employees across various Amazon teams, including AWS Database, Machine Learning, AI, Compute, and Networking.
Dubbed “Dynamo” in reference to the internal security platform used by AWS, the building offers a range of work environments to foster productivity and collaboration. From informal meeting spaces to focus rooms for uninterrupted work, Dynamo caters to diverse working preferences. Additionally, the second-floor grab ‘n’ go market provides a convenient space for colleagues to connect over coffee, lunch, or snacks.

Meanwhile, Amazon’s existing office space at 555 Tower, known as “Sonic,” recently welcomed 1,000 employees. Spanning 19 floors and over 400,000 square feet, Sonic offers a range of innovative features, including team suites equipped with flexible seating arrangements, whiteboarding areas, and lounge setups.
With the addition of West Main Tower 1 and 555 Tower, Amazon now occupies nine buildings in Bellevue.
West Main Tower 1 is located at 117 106th Avenue Northeast, while 555 Tower is located nearby at 555 108th Avenue Northeast.
