According to a new permit filed with the City of Bellevue, Moto Pizza will be opening at Bellevue Square. It will be located on the first floor, outside of Nordstrom, where Ice Monster occupies space.
The store is 1,400 square feet. Construction is slated to begin in June 2024, with an opening date planned for early August, according to PSBJ.
The menu features full-size, deep Detroit-style pie available from 2pm to 9pm. Diners can pick-up, dine-in, or pre-order.
Each pizza pie serves up to two people. The dinner menu includes flavors like beef adobo, clam chowder, crab, cheese, plant, and shrimp. Lunch pies are available from 11am to 2pm, and include the same flavor options on a smaller pizza. Pizzas range in price from $10 to $26.
The flagship product is the Mr. Pig, which has a three-cheese blend, pork belly, spicy pork sausage, caramelized onions, banana ketchup, chimichurri, and “Mr. Pig sauce”. The corners of the pizza are crispy from browning in the oven.
Moto Pizza has endured much success after first selling pizza out of a hostel in Belltown that closed down during the pandemic. The first location opened in West Seattle and was in such high demand that the pizza shop had to switch to a time-slot system that is known to book three months out.
This is the first location to open on the Eastside. Moto Pizza is also open in West Seattle, Edmonds, Belltown, and T-Mobile Park.
Ice Monster opened at Bellevue Square in 2022. Known for its shaved ice desserts, it was rated one of the top ten best desserts in the world by CNN.
