Bellevue Makes Top 10 List for 2024 Best Places to Live in US

Niche, the market leader in connecting colleges and schools with students and families, announced the release of its 2024 Best Places to Live in America rankings. In its 10th year, these rankings have been known to help at least 70 million people annually with decisions on where to live and go to school. The study looked at approximately 230 cities and over 18,000 places in the US.

Released in March, these findings broke down the best cities to live in based on crime, neighborhood diversity, area public schools, local housing market, and more.

Bellevue, Washington was ranked 10th best place to live in the United States.Ranked at 10th place in the United States. It was noted to be a nice suburban area turned city. Bellevue received an A+ overall Niche grade, A+ for its public schools, A+ for being family-oriented, A for diversity, A for its nightlife, B- for crime & safety, and C+ for housing.

Niche reported that living in Bellevue offers residents an urban suburban mix feel and most residents own their homes. “There are many restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Many young professionals live in Bellevue and residents tend to lean liberal. The public schools in Bellevue are highly rated.”

Other cities that made the list in order include; Naperville, Illinois, The Woodlands, Texas, Cambridge, Massachusetts, Arlington, Virginia, Plano, Texas, Irvine, California, Columbia, Maryland, Overland Park, Kansas, and Ann Arbor, Michigan. Berkley, California ranked just after Bellevue, Washington at 11th best place to live in the US.
