Trophy Cupcakes Bellevue Square

Trophy Cupcakes, a popular treat shop located on the second level of Bellevue Square between Na Hoku and Abercrombie & Fitch, has permanently closed its doors. The store first opened in September 2023, with the goal of providing visitors with a “unique and enchanting environment”.

Founder, Jennifer Shea, envisioned the Bellevue Square location as a space where guests could slow down and appreciate the beauty of life, mirroring the charm of the Seattle location with an added touch of playful sophistication.

A note left on the counter inside the store confirmed the closure, stating, “Bellevue, we thank you! This location is permanently closed. Join us at our University Village location.” The closure of this shop follows the shutdown of Trophy Cupcakes’ other stores in Queen Anne and Wallingford, leaving the University Village location in Seattle as the last remaining storefront. The Woodinville bakery, while not a retail shop, remains open for pickups only.

Prior to the opening of Trophy Cupcakes at Bellevue Square, Cafe Trophy operated at The Shops at The Bravern, beginning in August 2016. This previous location combined a bakery, cafe, and champagne bar, offering daily sweet treats and an Afternoon Tea experience featuring both sweet and savory options.

The company, founded by Jennifer Shea and Mike Williamson in 2007, first opened its doors in Wallingford.

  1. I think the Mall Should take Poll. To see What the Shoppers would want to see. Inside the mall, that way their aren’t. So many empty storefronts. I know a TON of people. That are Mad McDonald’s Never came back. It limits the inexpensive food options. Not just for Employees but also. Families with small children. And the grocery store “365” was a Great idea in theory. Just not many people could afford to shop there. If they did put a grocery store back. In that space it should be a. More Affordable one maybe an international market. With a wide variety of products.

  2. a gree with the other comment. Bellevue Square got rid of the family friendly places. McDonalds was great, Red Robin gone, Muggiano did not want to leave.
