New York-based real estate developer Silverstein Properties is launching “Art on the Avenue”, a series of street-level pop-up contemporary art galleries at Avenue Bellevue. The exhibition runs from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024, with a special cocktail reception in the lobby of the Intercontinental Bellevue at the Avenue.

Guests are invited to stop by before or after Snowflake Lane, which starts at 7:00 PM on Bellevue Way Northeast and is presented by Kemper Development Company.

In addition to the opening night, “Art on the Avenue” is open to the public by appointment through March 31, 2025. The exhibition features the work of more than 25 artists displayed across six storefronts. The collection includes paintings, photography, and sculptures, with styles ranging from street art and abstract art to documentary photography.

The works are curated by Silverstein Properties in collaboration with its non-profit artist residency program, Silver Art Projects. Based at New York’s World Trade Center, Silver Art Projects supports emerging artists and helps to accelerate their careers.

“Art on the Avenue” will feature a diverse group of artists from New York, Seattle, and around the world. Participating artists include AIKO, Amethyst Monet, ARKADR, BoogieRez, Conrad Stojak, ChrisRWK, David Hollier, Dragon76, Elizabeth Demaray, Eneri, Frank Ape, Hope Buzzelli, Hugo Bastidas, Joe Woolhead, Komikka Patton, Lauren Napolitano, Michela Roman, Parker Calvert, Ori Carino, artists from the Silver Art Projects residency program, Kerry Irvine, Taezoo Park, WhIsBe, and more artists to be announced.

Visitors can schedule an appointment to view the galleries at www.avenue.art.

Larry A. Silverstein, founder and chairman of Silverstein Properties, shares his enthusiasm for the role of art in everyday life: “I’ve always believed that art adds an exciting dimension to our lives and everything we do. It expands our thinking and offers a glimpse into the creative minds of the artists. This installation is a terrific way to bring life and creativity to Avenue Bellevue and showcase the work of a group of incredibly talented artists.”

Avenue Bellevue, located at 850 Avenue Square Northeast, is a luxury mixed-use development owned and operated by Silverstein Capital Partners, an affiliate of Silverstein Properties. The property recently transitioned from Fortress Development, led by CEO Andy Lakha.

Those interested in attending the opening reception or learning more about the exhibition can RSVP by emailing art@silvprop.com.
