Midlakes United, Bellevue’s first USL2 pre-professional soccer club, has launched a community ownership campaign on WeFunder, allowing local residents to invest in the team starting at $100 per share. The campaign, running through April 30, 2025, aims to give fans a stake in the city’s first USL franchise.
Playing at Bellevue College, the club has become a community hub, offering affordable, family-friendly entertainment while fostering local pride. Its “Ripple Effect” brings together neighbors, supports local businesses, and highlights homegrown talent.
As the team enters its second season in the USL2 Northwest Division, Midlakes United continues to build a following among Bellevue residents. Founded by Treencee Russell and Heather Cotton, the club is committed to growing Bellevue’s sports culture.
Russell said, “We’re excited to bring our community in as an integral part of the club, connecting people through soccer and pride in our city.”
Investors can reserve their right to invest, receive an owner scarf, and enjoy special perks. The campaign offers an opportunity to shape Bellevue’s soccer future and be part of the growing national soccer scene.
