Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection is returning this fall, marking two decades as one of the Pacific Northwest’s leading style events. Taking place September 26–27 at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, this year’s Fashion Week highlights two runway shows that combine established brands, emerging student designers, and a focus on local community support.

Two Nights of Fashion and Philanthropy

On Friday, September 26, the Trend Takeover Runway Show will kick off the weekend with a presentation of this fall’s most prominent fashion trends. Attendees can expect an evening of beauty activations, music, photo moments, drinks, and light bites.

On Saturday, September 27, the Collective Runway Show will follow, showcasing fashion from top brands as well as original designs by student designers participating in the new New & Next program.

All proceeds from the two events will benefit local nonprofits. Friday’s show supports Sports In Schools, and Saturday’s benefits WWIN (Washington Women in Need). In total, Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection has donated over $1.4 million to local organizations since it first began.

New Program Supports Student Designers

In celebration of its 20th year, Fashion Week has introduced a new student showcase: New & Next. The initiative offers eight emerging designers from regional colleges and universities the opportunity to debut their original creations during Saturday’s runway show. Participants represent Central Washington University, Seattle Central College, Seattle Pacific University, and Washington State University.

After the show, their designs will also be featured in installations at Bellevue Square from September 29 to October 9.

“This anniversary is not just about looking back—it’s about looking ahead,” said Jennifer Leavitt, senior vice president of marketing for The Bellevue Collection. “The New & Next showcase gives talented students real-world experience and helps prepare them for careers in the fashion industry.”
