GIS Plaza in Downtown Bellevue for Sale Under Court Oversight as Luxury Condo Sales Continue

GIS Plaza, a six-story mixed-use development in downtown Bellevue at 999 110th Ave. NE, is currently being sold through a court-appointed receivership process, according to public records. The building includes residential, retail, and office condominium units.

While earlier filings indicated that only select commercial portions of the property were under receivership, the entire building is now being marketed for sale under court oversight. Despite this, the residential condominium component continues to operate normally, with luxury units actively being marketed and sold.

According to Kara Mumma, a broker with The Agency Seattle who is representing the building, the sales process for buyers remains largely the same as it would under a traditional individual ownership sale.

“The buyer process is relatively the same as if it were an individual owner selling,” Mumma said. “The receivership was put in charge to complete the building properly while upholding the integrity of the high-end finishes and design.”

Under a receivership, a court-appointed third party is responsible for managing the property, often to help oversee its sale or completion while resolving financial issues tied to the development.

The residential component of GIS Plaza continues to move forward, with luxury condominium sales ongoing. Units are currently being marketed through The Agency Seattle by Mumma and the Mumma Homes team, and several private residential sales have already closed, according to public records.

Within the residential portion of the development, interior buildouts have included custom cabinetry work completed by Bellevue-based Eco German Kitchens, according to the Bellevue Downtown Association. The firm designed, supplied, and installed German-made cabinetry for 12 apartment homes and three penthouse units.

The work included both kitchen and bathroom installations, with an emphasis on modern European design and functional storage solutions tailored to individual units.

“We do not simply sell cabinets,” said Natalie Ivashkina, owner and lead designer of Eco German Kitchens. “We create custom living spaces that combine European design, German quality, and practical functionality.”

Ivashkina said the company’s approach focuses on adapting each design to the layout and intended use of the space, rather than repeating standardized kitchen models across projects.

“Every home is different, and every client has a different lifestyle,” she said. “Our goal is never to copy the same kitchen again and again. We create designs that feel personal, balanced, and connected to the architecture of the space.”

GIS International Group, the original developer behind GIS Plaza, purchased the property in 2005 for $1.3 million. The building combines residential, retail, and office uses in a single development in downtown Bellevue.
