Jam Padel has opened Seattle’s first dedicated padel facility, introducing the fast-growing racquet sport padel to the region with a three-court outdoor pop-up in Bellevue’s Spring District, next to Meta’s campus.
The seasonal facility operates as a four-month activation running June through September, with daily hours from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. It marks the debut of padel in the Seattle area, a racquet sport that blends elements of tennis and squash and is played in doubles on an enclosed court with glass walls and metal mesh.
Padel originated in Mexico in 1968 and has since become widely popular in Spain and across Latin America. It is now expanding rapidly in countries including Italy, England, and Israel. The sport is played with solid, stringless racquets and a softer tennis-style ball, with players able to use the surrounding walls as part of gameplay.
Jam Padel’s Spring District pop-up features three courts and operates on a pay-as-you-play model with no membership required. Drop-in pricing ranges from $30 to $45 per player. Sessions are available in 60- or 90-minute increments and must be booked at least seven days in advance. Rackets and balls are included.
The facility also offers structured “open play” sessions designed for social, rotating doubles play. Each session runs for two hours and can accommodate up to 16 players across two courts, using a rotation format that keeps players active on court throughout the session. A minimum of eight players is required for sessions to run.
Founding memberships are also available, priced between $1,200 and $2,200, with only 50 memberships being offered through June 15.
Jam Padel was co-founded by Nadav Porat and Pablo Arcuschin. Arcuschin is a padel-certified coach and facility consultant with experience in global operations and partnerships. Porat is a former Big Four CPA, Wharton MBA graduate, and has a background in mergers and acquisitions as well as leadership roles in international expansion and finance within a major tech company.
The Bellevue pop-up is a temporary installation, with Jam Padel planning a permanent location in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. The founders are also exploring additional sites, with three more locations currently under consideration.
