Bellevue Civic Innovation Exchange Returns on June 3, Highlighting Digital Equity

Bellevue is preparing to host its second annual civic technology gathering, as regional partners return to downtown for the Civic Innovation Exchange on June 3, 2026 at the Meydenbauer Center.

The one-day event brings together government agencies, technology organizations, startups, nonprofits, and community members for discussions and collaboration focused on civic innovation and digital equity across the region.

The Exchange is a regional partnership between the City of Bellevue, Bellevue College, Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech), and King County Information Technology (KCIT). The goal of the initiative is to bring together local government, businesses, and community organizations to share ideas and explore new ways to improve public services using technology.

This year’s program is centered on four focus areas: advancing regional leadership in artificial intelligence, accelerating civic innovation, supporting small business and community-driven innovation, and expanding pathways for workforce and talent development.

The gathering will include keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions intended to encourage different groups to work together and develop practical solutions to community challenges.

Registration is required to attend the June 3 event, with organizers noting that participation is open to the public and includes government employees, technologists, entrepreneurs, educators, students, and residents interested in civic technology.
